We are reaching the end of the Armor of God series, written by Priscilla Shirer, based on Ephesians 6:10-20. This week, we focus on the Helmet of Salvation from verse 17: 17 And take the helmet of salvation
Here is how the video for this week is described: The salvation experience is often reduced to something that only affects a person's eternal destiny. However, salvation is meant to come with more than future benefits. Salvation is not just a past event; it is also a present reality. The fact that Jesus lives means our salvation flows into the every day experiences where we live.
As Priscilla talks about salvation in the video, she emphasizes that salvation is MORE than a ticket to eternity. She has one theological definition of salvation as both rescue AND restoration. Remember Don’s suggestion two weeks ago that we think of salvation as a door opening that we can enter – then it’s up to us what we do with the gifts available. That will be a great context for listening to Wednesday's video session.

A train of thought we will explore after the video:
- What would you change about your current lifestyle if you received a substantial financial inheritance in the next 24 hours? - Do you see yourself as having a lavish spiritual inheritance?
