Before showing this week's video session, we talked briefly about one of the things we learned as part of last week's Shield of Faith discussion - about the "tortoise" formation that a Roman legion or division could create with their long wooden shields. The question was whether we are like that as a congregation, and if so, is the formation protective or isolating? There were interesting comments about the challenges of truly linking together as one congregational family, or legion.
After the video, we talked about how a massive financial inheritance would impact our lifestyle, and then how our spiritual inheritance, as a child of God, effects our spiritual lifestyle. To think deeper about all the treasure we have inherited, we received a list from Priscilla's list of our benefits and blessings, as detailed in Scripture:
